Big changes may be coming for the Francis Family

Many may know that the Air Force is reducing their people and it looks like it might effect Neil and his career. Which in one way is a good thing. Since he is reaching 15 years in the military in June he will have the opportunity to retire early. He has to apply to see if they choose him but we think he has a pretty good chance of getting picked. If he does he may be out as early as Aug. It is a scary thought since this has been our life since we got married 15 years ago but we know God will take care of us. I know it will be a big relief to Neil since he constantly worries from one day to the next if he will have a job with all the cuts they are making. And it will help me to not worry about him worrying. He will apply Jan 14th and we should hopefully find out not long after if he got picked. Of course he has been looking at jobs and he has a good deal to choose from. He has his resume fixed up and has submitted it to different job sites. We are hoping he gets something close to a base. To help with costs like groceries and stuff so I still have access to the commissary. He found a job at Ft Campbell which is basically doing what he is doing now but on the civilian side. And we have friends at Wright Pat that is going to see what they have there. We also have friends in NC that might can help get him a job as well.

We are excited but also nervous so just keep us in your prayers that we make the right decisions and do what God wants us to do........
